Boutique Catering
At WeChef, we believe every event is unique and deserves a menu that reflects its distinct character. That’s why we don’t offer pre-set menus for clients to choose from. Instead, we craft each menu from scratch, tailored to the theme, preferences, and budget of our clients while considering the venue’s specific features from the very beginning. Is it labor-intensive? Absolutely. But it’s the only way to ensure that every dish we serve is a perfect fit.
We specialize in small to mid-sized events where catering is expected to be more than just a buffet of hot dishes arriving on time. We love blending elements from different service styles—drawing inspiration from cocktail parties, flying service, fine dining, and family-style tavolàta gatherings—to create a one-of-a-kind experience for each client. We also provide expert drink pairings to complement our dishes.
Anything, from Anywhere
We work closely with local small-scale producers, farmers, hunters, and fishermen to source the finest and freshest ingredients. When needed, we also procure exotic ingredients from around the world—there’s no request too bold for us. Every dish is prepared from scratch using the best available ingredients—no shortcuts, no compromises. And while our specialty is food, we can also arrange nearly every other service needed to make an event a success.
Culinary Excellence with a Relaxed Approach
Our Head Chef, Jenni Tuominen, is the only Finnish graduate of the prestigious Grand Diplôme program at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. She was responsible for all official catering during Finland’s EU presidency in Brussels in 2019 and has also served as Head Chef at the Finnish Embassy in Belgium. In Helsinki, she is best known for the acclaimed Kansleri pop-up events and as the former Head Chef of Restaurant Chaos.
